Paguera is one of the most popular resorts in southwest Mallorca
Paguera or Peguera is located in the municipality of Calvià on the southwest coast of Mallorca and it is one of Mallorca’s most desired holiday destinations. The town offers 3 sandy beaches, the "Playa Palmira", "Playa Tora" and "Playa La Romana", all of them offering safe swimming conditions and facilities such as sun loungers, umbrellas. The long and wide pedestrian promenade with its many cafés and restaurants is a popular place to just relax having lunch or dinner while overlooking the beautiful landscape and Mediterranean Sea.

The Platja Palmira is with 500m length and 40m width the largest of the three beaches. But also at the Platja Tora with 190m length and 65m width, as well as the Platja Romana, with 90m length and 60m width you are nice beaches to spend the day. On all three beaches you can rent beach sun loungers and umbrellas on a daily basis and showers and toilets are also provided. With the beach promenade just above the beaches you find plenty of cafés and bars for a nice lunch or dinner while overlooking the beautiful senery. At the western end of Paguera you reach the little town of Cala Fornells, the most desirable holiday destination and beautiful part of Paguera. Cala Fornells is a very popular and sought after district of Pagueras. Located high above the sea and architecturally attractive noble settlement was built in the Mediterranean style and characterized by its nested facilities. The well-known architect Pedro Otzoup has created a picturesque village here with a quiet and extremely pleasant atmosphere. Cyclists will find more sporty, more challenging tours as the region is rather hilly and experts can improve their skills and gain some altitude in the neighboring Tramuntana mountains. Paguera is also a good starting point for trips to the extended southwest region of Majorca including Palma de Mallorca. Various guided hiking tours are also offered and two 18-hole golf courses, Golf de Andratx (about 3km) and Golf Santa Ponsa (about 5km) are with easy reach.
Every Tuesday morning you can shop at the weekly market that offers fresh, mostly local goods such as fruits and vegetables. But also other things such as arts and crafts and clothing are offered.
