Puerto Portals a very privileged and noble harbor just below Portals Nous.  Some say it is the most prestige place on the island besides Puerto Andratx. During the summer months you’ll see some of the most exclusive and expensive yachts here as their owners love to spend their holidays in this region or just stay for a day in one of the many cafés and restaurants in the harbor offering exquisite cuisine and a spectacular view. Portals Nous is a good place to spot one or the other celebrity.

A small sandy beach can be found nearby, walking a small path off the main road to a small rocky plateau from which you also have a fantastic panoramic view. Right below you find one of the nicest beaches near Palma, which can be accessed either at the end of the harbor or via some steep rocky steps.

For active guests, the tennis court in the neighboring Costa den Blanes and the Golf Course “Golf Bendinat” are just some of the possible activities. Many watersport facilities can be found at the beach or along the cost nearby. The Marineland  in Costa den Blanes offers entertainment for families with dolphin and sea lion shows, exotic bird shows, a tropical house, aviary and many other attractions.

Puerto Portals is also a very popular holiday destination due to its proximity to Palma de Mallorca. Frequent bus connections take you right into the city center with the stunning cathedral, the old town and the beautiful harbor. Here you also find a huge variety of shops, many restaurants and bars – and not to miss: the market halls “Mercado de Olivar”, offering fish, seafood, meat, vegetables and all sorts of other items.
